U.S.R. (Late Shri Umed Singh Rawat) Indu Samiti was founded with opening a Handicapped School at its headquarter; Basai, Peerumadara, Ramnagar, District Nainital in 1998 by Mr. Sandeep Rawat (DHLS, AYJNIHH, New Delhi) in the aegis of his grandfather Shri Umed singh Rawat ji (founder of the Samiti). The Samiti is a registered society, registered under society registration act 1860, PWD Act 1995, National Trust Act 1999, Income Tax Act 1961 and (FCRA) Foreign Contribution Regulation Act 1976.
